This is what happened to our gingerbread man....he was on the roof and then fell off and broke his neck so we decided to make it just a little bit gory...sorry! it was funny!

My First Quilt!

For Young Women in excellence this year we all decided that we wanted to make quilts. For mutual activities and lessons, if we were there that day, we would receive a quilt square that had something to do with that lesson or activity. If you missed the activity/lesson then you would have to do a service project or something in personal progress to earn the square that you missed. It was so much fun to make the quilt and I'm so happy I had the opportunity to learn how to make a nice big quilt. It took a long time to make but I love it! Most of the quilts that the girls made are the size of the middle of my quilt..which is pretty small so I made mine bigger so I could actually wrap up in it!

Happy Thanksgiving!

So I know it is a little late but better late then never right? I hope all of you had a good thanksgiving. Ours was alright but very small this year so it just kinda felt like a normal meal I guess. We normally go to a church and have the whole Strasser family together, but this year we didn't do it that way. Our thanksgiving was just my parents Logan, Levi and I. I've never had a thanksgiving dinner with this little amount of people. It was very weird, but still fun. That night we went to my Aunt Linda's house for pie and then we stayed up until 5am to go to the black friday sales but none of us had money so it was pretty much pointless. we had a good time though!
